1st Line Support Engineer – IT

Enfield

£21,000 – £25,500 per annum

Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract – 6 months

Our client has a great opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join them on a 6 month contract basis to support the Head of IT and 2rd / 3rd Line Engineer in all areas of work, providing technical support both onsite and remotely to end-users.

Key responsibilities

*

Contributing to IT support helpdesk management, ensuring tickets are handled timely and to a high standard.

*

Research and seek solutions to problems and documenting findings in a timely and effective manner.

*

Assist in managing client relationships and representing the association in a positive manner.

*

Support the network infrastructure, it’s maintenance, development and ongoing availability, in particular for Disaster recovery and Business Continuity Plan purposes.

*

Support the successful delivery of IT based projects.

*

Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.

Their ideal candidate will:

*

Be a qualified Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

*

Have an understanding of Active Directory administration.

*

Windows Server 2008/2012/2016

*

Windows 7, 10 & MAC OS knowledge

*

Have DNS, DHCP exposure

*

Possess good knowledge of Dell Hardware

*

Have demonstrable experience is a similar role

*

Proven ability to identify and apply appropriate customer care skills.

*

Full driving license and access to a car.
