Salary: £30,748 – £33,915 per annum (actual)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

About the Role

An outstanding secondary school in Westminster is seeking a Careers Coordinator to lead the delivery of its Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme across Years 7–13.

This pivotal role will see you working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, staff, students, and external partners to design and deliver a forward-thinking, high-impact careers strategy aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and Baker Clause.

You’ll inspire and empower young people to make informed decisions about their future pathways — whether through university, apprenticeships, or employment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate a high-quality careers programme across the school, supporting all students from Year 7 to Year 13.

*

Organise and deliver events such as career fairs, employer engagement sessions, UCAS support, and workplace experiences.

*

Provide 1:1 careers advice, guidance on post-16 and post-18 routes, and support with applications.

*

Build strong relationships with employers, training providers, colleges, and universities.

*

Monitor and evaluate careers provision to ensure compliance with statutory guidance and best practice.

About You

*

Passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.

*

Knowledgeable about a range of post-16 and post-18 progression routes.

*

Experienced in delivering or supporting careers guidance in a school or educational setting.

*

Strong communicator with excellent organisational and partnership-building skills.

*

Level 6 in Careers Guidance (or willingness to work towards it) highly desirable.
