Trident Healthcare are recruiting for a private Hospital in cerntal london that require interim cover from the 5th – 11th July.

We are looking for :-

Senior Radiographer – Cardiac and Radiology Interventional Role Overview We will look to you to provide specialist clinical knowledge and skills in a broad range of cardiac, radiology and neuro procedures with Angiography suite – CathLab. CR and DR user in Philips x-ray rooms; IR trained (performing angioplasty, angiography, embolization; EVAR, TEVAR, FEVAR, PTC, Nephrostomy, Port-a-cath insertion, PICC line insertion, HSG, Biopsy and Drains; Cath Lab trained (performing coronary angiograms and pacemaker insertion and electrophysiology and ablations); To contribute to and help develop a multi-disciplinary team in all aspects of clinical practice so as to ensure the best journey for our patients.

You would be expected to perform core hours from 08:00 to 18:00 with occasional covering demand after this time – possibility of flexible hours like early and late shifts and long days. In addition On-Call Cover would also be offered to the successful candidate. Clinical Delivery Maintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards. Perform all types of cardiac and radiographic examinations as required by referring Physicians according to departmental policies and procedures. Demonstrate significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet with the expectations of the interventional consultants. Ensure that a high quality service is provided by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance and reporting. Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting. Participate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor. Be prepared to train and work in both single plane and biplane Angiography Suites Operational Delivery Organising the daily work programme to ensure that the department runs efficiently. Assist in the orientation of staff, providing training, help and support. Be fully conversant with the Radiology Management System, PACS, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation. Ensure that effective booking, information, reporting and filing systems are maintained and developed. Participate in a departmental On-Call rota and to work flexible hours if required to accommodate changing workload patterns. Assist in the care of all equipment within the department ensuring that cleanliness is maintained and that all equipment faults are reported immediately. Ensure the efficient use of all resources, establish stock control systems and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers
