The Role – English Tutor
We are seeking a committed English Tutor to join a specialist independent school in Greenwich that supports secondary-aged students with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will deliver tailored English sessions to students who may have experienced trauma, exclusion, or challenges in mainstream education.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff and the pastoral team to provide 1:1 and small group interventions, helping students build confidence in literacy and prepare for assessments including GCSEs. The role requires someone with strong behaviour management skills, a nurturing approach, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
