Job Advert: Estate & Block Surveyor

We are expanding our contract talent pool and seeking skilled Estate & Block Surveyors to support external and communal asset surveys across estates, blocks and shared outdoor areas.
The Role
As an Estate & Block Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying estates, sub-estates, major blocks and communal external areas. You will capture structured asset data to support large-scale housing improvement and compliance programmes.
Key Responsibilities

Survey external building elements, boundaries, roofs and communal areas
*
Use GIS mapping tools and site plans to ensure full and accurate coverage
*
Capture photographic evidence and contextual information for each location
*
Identify risks or potential HHSRS indicators and escalate where required
*
Upload completed surveys on a weekly basis
*
Work professionally across varied estate environments and engage appropriately with residents
Candidate Requirements
*
Experience in estate/block surveying or external building inspections
*
Good understanding of building pathology, external structures and communal assets
*
Relevant surveying qualification (preferred but not essential)
*
Valid DBS check
*
Full UK driving licence
