Junior Sales Associate – Lead Generation

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Junior Sales Associate to join our lead generation team based in the London office.

The successful candidate will be a member of the LeadGen team within Broadridge’s Global Sales, Marketing and Solutions Organisation, reporting to the Head of LeadGen.

The individual in this role will be responsible for contacting current and potential customers to generate and qualify leads, promote products and services, and identify sales opportunities.

You must be able to clearly and persuasively articulate Broadridge’s value proposition, offerings and capabilities, as well as be able to assess the viability of a lead and make a clear determination as to how and where these leads should be advanced amongst the broader sales organisation.

The individual in this role must also adapt quickly and have an interest in contributing to process improvement, to continually evolve and improve pitch books, presentations, and client surveys.

Responsibilities:

Please note, full training is provided for this role:

* Help to build and follow department processes, including process flow and procedures

* Contact current or potential customer to promote products or services via telephone and/or email

* Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers

* Explain products or services and answer questions from customers

* Maintain records of customer accounts and contacts via Broadforce ((url removed)). Record names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted

* Identify potential customers and generate qualified sales leads

* Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals

* Answer telephone calls from potential customers

* Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations

* Conduct client or market surveys to acquire information about potential customers

Desired skills:

* Bachelor’s degree

* Experience creating and delivering presentations

* Experience in client services, or sales support role is a plus

* Strong communication skills with the ability to talk with others and convey information effectively; the ability to clearly articulate a message. Must also effectively communicate in writing as well as read and understand information

* Ability to persuade others to change their minds or behaviour; The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand and change their perspective and/or consider other perspectives

* Ability to demonstrate active listening. Take time to understand the points being made by others, ask questions as appropriate and not interrupt at inappropriate times. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

* Must be service oriented and demonstrate capability to actively look for ways to help
