You’ll own the M&E package from Stage 4 design through to handover — on projects where mistakes don’t hide.
If you know prime residential M&E is unforgiving… and secretly enjoy that fact, this will make sense.
A well-established main contractor is delivering a mix of low-rise prime residential new builds in North London and complex commercial schemes (including exhibition spaces) in Central West London and is looking for an experienced M&E Manager to take full ownership of M&E on site.
Not coordinate it.
Not chase spreadsheets.
Own it.
You’ll be taking projects currently at Stage 4 technical design and carrying them through delivery, commissioning and handover, with M&E packages ranging from £5m–£13m and programmes running through 2027.
Day to day, you’ll be:
Leading the M&E package on site
Managing subcontractors and coordinating services with finishes
Controlling M&E submissions, approvals and technical sign-off
Driving QA, commissioning and handover properly
Reporting directly to the company’s M&E Lead (with real technical support)
This suits someone with a mechanical background and strong all-round M&E knowledge, who’s comfortable on residential / low-rise projects and used to running sizeable packages.
You don’t need a Tier 1 logo.
You do need a sharp eye, calm head, and low tolerance for shortcuts.
Procore experience is useful (training provided), but more important is knowing your M from your E and having delivered quality M&E on real projects.
If you enjoy solving problems that can’t be Googled, on jobs where “near enough” isn’t acceptable, this is your kind of role.
Curious? Always open to a discreet conversation.
