We are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our project team on an 8-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of M&E packages on a high-profile construction project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially astute professional to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage M&E cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

Prepare, submit, and negotiate subcontractor packages and valuations

Ensure cost control, value engineering, and risk management across all M&E works

Assist in project procurement and manage variations and change control

Liaise with internal project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on commercial matters

Monitor and report on project budgets, timelines, and deliverables

Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company policies, and industry regulations

Requirements

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with strong focus on M&E projects

Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts

Proficient in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Excel, etc.)

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

Eligible to work in the UK
