Mechanical Fitter – London (x3 positions)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas (Field-Based) | Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications – not including overtime)
Full UK Driving Licence required (of overseas equivalent)
Our client is a leading solutions provider delivering sustainable, resilient, and innovative engineering solutions across critical industrial sectors. They support operations across water, energy, transport, and pharmaceutical industries, ensuring mechanical systems run reliably and efficiently.
We’re looking for three experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the London team. This is a hands-on, technical role for fitters who are comfortable working on industrial equipment, assemblies, and plant systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and safety across a range of facilities.
💼 What You’ll Do:

Assembly and installation: Putting together machine parts, installing new equipment, and assembling components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Maintenance and repair: Performing routine checks, diagnosing faults, and repairing or overhauling machinery and its components, including pumps, motors, and valves.
*
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
*
Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and operation.
*
Maintain Health & Safety compliance and accurate site records.
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as an industrial mechanical fitter in sectors such as water, energy, transport, or pharmaceuticals.
*
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, motors, valves, and industrial assemblies.
*
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
*
Health & Safety conscious, reliable, and organised.
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the South East.
