Freelance MEP Manager Opportunity – Leading Main Contractor – Prestigious Commercial Project
We are recruiting for an experienced Freelance MEP Manager to work on a prestigious commercial office development in Victoria, London.
This is a technically complex project with £60m of Mechanical & Electrical packages, and the MEP Manager will take full responsibility for delivering the mechanical and electrical works through commissioning, testing and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Mechanical & Electrical packages through final delivery
* Oversee M&E subcontractors (mechanical, electrical, BMS, commissioning)
* Drive commissioning, testing, snagging and handover
* Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and design intent
* Coordinate with construction, design and commercial teams
* Manage temporary and permanent MEP services
* Monitor programme, quality, H&S and technical compliance
* Review and manage RAMS, commissioning plans and O&M manuals
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as an MEP Manager / Building Services Manager
* Strong commercial project background (office / CAT A / CAT B)
* Experience managing high-value MEP packages (£30m+)
* Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health systems
* Strong knowledge of commissioning and handover processes
* Ability to manage multiple M&E subcontractors
* SMSTS & CSCS (preferred)
