Primary Teacher (SEN)
ASAP or September Start
A growing Special Needs School in Waltham Forest is recruiting an experienced teacher to start ASAP or September for the academic year. This is a full-time post, working via the agency.
The school is located across 2 sites, catering for 200 pupils aged 2-19 years old, with EHCPs for ASD, PMLD, SLD and complex needs. As well as offering students an engaging curriculum, they also work hard to develop communication and social skills.
Shortlisted candidates must have proven experience in the UK, ideally within a SEN school, however the school are happy to meet with mainstream teachers, who have an interest in SEN. You must have recent experience teaching the UK primary curriculum. There are opportunities in both KS1 and 2. Classes will consist of 4-6 students of varying abilities; therefore, it is imperative you are confident planning inclusive, individualised lessons.
