A new opportunity has emerged for a specialist Property Officer to join one of our largest Charitable organisations on a permanent contract. This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) role based in London and offers remote working.
You will be responsible to support the successful outcomes for the Charity's young people, through the provision of an effective and comprehensive property management service. You will be arranging responsive repairs, void works, minor refurbishment projects, alterations, insurance claims, new business projects, contract management, invoice and budget management. You will also supporting all staff, residents and non-residents, and visitors.
The client is keen for the successful candidate to possess previous experience of:
*Successfully managing large patch of multi-tenure developments, providing day-to-day property management services.
*Arranging void works in line with the Charity's policies and support colleagues to pre-plan for voids wherever possible.
*Specifying and raising works orders in line with the Charity's policies, including carrying out pre and post-work inspections.
*Maintaining relationships with all contractors and registered providers including escalating issues in a timely manner.
*Being accountable to residents and other stakeholders for how their homes are managed, money is spent and services they receive.
*Ensuring regular inspections of communal areas, retained spaces and public realm so they are maintained to the highest standard and all health and safety regulations are met.
*Ensuring that the building maintenance systems are actively monitored and any alerts are promptly acted upon.
*Supervising and managing contracted services, such as cleaning, ground maintenance, security services etc.
*Ensuring reactive repairs, asset compliance and planned maintenance are delivered to an excellent standard.
*Working alongside the Finance team to prepare service charge estimates and year-end accounts, managing services within budget.
*Liaising with your services regularly, through visits and regular communication to determine details of repairs and progress towards completion
As the client is keen for the candidate to hit the ground running previous experience of carrying out a similar role within housing association or public sector client would be beneficial.
