An immediate start opportunity exists for a Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience on Network Rail projects whilst working for a contractor or sub-contractor. Knowledge of the NEC4 contracts and proficient managing multiple cost reimbursement packages, is sought.
Your regular duties will include –
Oversee procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services
Manage cost reporting, forecasts, and financial tracking
Process payment applications and manage subcontractor accounts
Support project teams with valuations, variations, and final accounts
Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations
The requirement for this opportunity includes
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specializing in civil engineering and rail projects.
In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and rail industry standards and practices.
BSc/ Dip Quantity Surveying or similar
Experience of NEC forms of contract
Proven experience managing multiple smaller projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of procurement and cost management
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
Excellent stakeholder management
