Role Summary:
The Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects. Working closely with project teams and clients, the successful candidate will ensure cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and valuations.
* Conducting detailed cost analysis and risk assessments.
* Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
* Monitoring project progress and producing accurate financial reports.
* Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve commercial issues.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in building services or construction.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Excellent knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software
