A developing Local Authority is looking for a Service Manager to join their Disabled Children Team in North London. As a successful Service Manager, you will be joining a fast-paced service and will work closely with the interim Head of Service for the Children's Disabled Team.

This Service Manager position is a full-time position. You will need to have experience within a Disabled Children's Team along with the current knowledge of the Current Legislation, policies and procedures. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match the ambitions to the Local Authority.

Your responsibilities as the Service Manager:

Prioritise, allocate and manage the work that comes into the team
Provide Appraisal and personal development
Ensure the timely transition of children and young people is managed
Maintain a high standard of the team's record keeping

Requirements of you as the Service Manager:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid HCPC registration
Relevant knowledge of the legislation, policies and Procedures
Experience of working within a Senior/Managerial position
Experience of working within Disabled Children Team
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: North London

Salary: up to £58,000
