Job Title: Shift Technician (4 positions available)
Location: Blackfriars, London (Pathologist Labs onsite)
Salary: £53,500 basic + £5,000 shift allowance = £58,500 total package
Shifts: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights (7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am)
Team: 2-person shift team

We’re hiring 4 x Shift Technicians to support a modern pathology laboratory located in the heart of Blackfriars, London. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking organisation offering strong benefits, work-life balance, and long-term career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing hands-on technical and engineering support across a busy laboratory environment.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Diagnosing faults and ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
*
Working collaboratively as part of a 2-person shift team to maintain a high standard of service delivery across the site.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar technical or engineering role (mechanical or electrical bias considered).
*
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
*
Willingness to work days and nights on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
*
Must be able to pass a DBS Check.
