Our client, an Education Institute in South West London,  are looking for an experienced Teacher in ASD and Behaviour to join their team and play a crucial role in their Inclusive Learning department.       

Position: Teacher of ASD and Behavioural Concerns
Rate: £28 p/h (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 4 months with Possible Extension 
Essential: Enhanced DBS required for this position

Purpose:

You’ll be responsible for delivering early developmental curriculum for SEN students within a specialist provision (ASD, Behaviours of concern and Learning Disabilities). Job Responsibilities: 

Working with adults with SEN to provide high quality support across the Foundations curriculum (Level 1 – Level 3).
Cover pre-prepared lessons and activities, in teacher absences, whilst maintaining engagement from learners.
Support with team briefings, EHCP's, and meetings/reviews. 
Manage behaviour concerns in line with strategies, safeguarding and educational policies.  Job Requirements:

Previous experience working within an educational institute or a similar organisation.
At least 2 years experience within a Foundation Lecturer role or equivalent.
Knowledge of SEND Strategies, Frameworks and Accreditations
Experience working within the development, and changes, of Further Education including Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement (RARPA).
