A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Islington is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain long-term experience in a school setting while making a real difference to students' learning and confidence.
You will work closely with teaching staff to support students across KS3 and KS4, providing in-class assistance as well as targeted 1:1 and small group support.
Pay: £90 – £105 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, term-time only | Long-term role
Key responsibilities:
Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects
Providing 1:1 and small group intervention support
Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation
Encouraging engagement, confidence and positive behaviourThe ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with young people (school, tutoring, youth work or similar)
Be patient, proactive and confident supporting secondary-aged students
