We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across the Wembley area. These opportunities include long-term placements as well as flexible day-to-day supply work, with a strong focus on SEND departments and additional needs support.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants the flexibility to work in different school environments or secure a longer-term role.
About the Role
Working as a Teaching Assistant in primary and secondary schools across Wembley
Supporting pupils with SEND, including autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Providing 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom
Assisting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery
Supporting pupils with behaviour, engagement, and access to learning
Working in SEND departments, resource bases, and mainstream classrooms
Opportunities for long-term Teaching Assistant roles and day-to-day supply
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school or SEND setting (preferred)
Be confident supporting children with additional needs
Be patient, reliable, and committed to helping pupils succeed
Be flexible and happy to work in different school environments
Have a genuine interest in working in education and SEND
Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
